Lovely Debbie - I too have joined you with the slower start to the year. I gave up a while ago trying to follow all the hype of new year when like you I realised it does not allign with our true connection to being part of nature. I will look out for the Almanac you mention, it sounds perfect for me.
Thank you for sharing 🙏✨ I’m definitely in favour of a slower start to the calendar year, and whilst I seek to embrace winter, I’ll admit that my body and mind is longing for spring 🌿
Debbie I really love that our years have started the way we hoped, and it just goes to show the intention of being present and leading with slow and gentle energy is working 🙏 I am so grateful to you, and I love having you as part of the Slow & Steady membership. It is a joy.
Also I have wanted to start a nature journal for so long, I keep having stalled starts ! But I really want to get there this year.
It's fantastic isn't it, and definitely the way forward, slow and gentle.
Aww thank you, and same here, I love being part of your membership 😊💖
I've thought about doing a nature journal for a while now, but it wasn't until I was looking through a few blank notebooks that the idea came to fruition. I was thinking of incorporating an element of wellbeing into the journal too. Not quite sure how this is going to work yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it evolves over time.
Thank you so much for your kind words, and likewise 🙏😊
I love the idea of a nature journal. I saw a beautiful one by Melissa Harrison in Waterstones the other day - maybe the time is right. 😊 Gorgeous photos as ever and the idea of easing into the New Year with none of the January pressure is something I have also tried to do this year. I can’t wait to investigate the book recommendations!
Thank you Victoria 😊🙏. I love that you're thinking about doing a nature journal too. I think there is something so grounding about observing and recording nature.
Lovely post. I'm so glad so many of us are embracing this slower start to the year. 🙏☺️✨️
Loved this post ❤️
Thank you Katie, I'm so pleased you enjoyed it 🙏😊

Thank you 😊🙏 It makes a real difference to the beginning of the calendar year doesn't it.
I hope you enjoy the Almanac, I loved it.

You're welcome. Having a slower start in January and February certainly makes a difference doesn't it.
Spring is definitely on it's way though, there are a few signs of life now, with daffodil bulbs starting to pop up.
